Front desk receptionist
Responsibilities: - Answering phone calls and operating a switchboard. - Greeting guests and providing all information they need. - Distributing mail and correspondence. - Helping guests with all booking questions. - Managing the registration process. After switching to front desk department I had even more language practice and customer service expirience. The key mission was to find a personal approach to each guest which will fullfill his or her goals and needs. This always required multitasking, I think my main achievement on this position was ability to quickly recognize the core problem of a client and provide the most appropriate solution and then move to the next client. Sometimes we had an enormous amount of guests (during holidays for example) so dealing with their problems quickly and efficiently was our essential purpose.

Pool Activities Attendant
Responsibilities: - Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the pool area. - Ensuring the safety and security of the pool slide for all guests. - Handle items for “lost and fond” according to the hotel standards. - Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. The main duty of the department was providing an excellent customer servise to all guests of the hotel. Besides that workers of the department was responsible for opening the pool at 8 o'clock in the morning and closing it at midnight or after the last client. I worked night shifts and usually we had to stay past midnight because of late night guests, but I was completely fine with it. I had a lot of overtime because I always very commited to work. While working on this position I had a lot of english language practice connected with customer service and assistance. Later I decided to transfer and continued my work at the same hotel as front desk receptionist.
