Technical assistance in INTECO S. A. Continuity of the development of the security app for Android devices started in the 2012. My main responsabilities were the same than previously within this project and I was also given a coordinating/supervising role within the developer team.

Technical assistance in INTECO (Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías de la Comunicación - National Institute for Communication Technologies) - León, Spain. During this period several projects were carried out, the most important being: - Knowledge portal and mobile client - 2 months: Development of a web portal and a specialized mobile client to connect to it. My first responsability was the creation of the mobile application using PhoneGap (now Cordova). Data was retreived through a REST service, and formatted using HTML5, CSS and jQueryMobile. Secondary responsabilities included support in the creation of the web portal using Drupal as well as adapting the web service and some of the content for better compatibility. - Multimedia study in HTML5 - 2 months: Accessibility study in HTML5 multimedia tags, specifically <video> and <audio> tags. My main responsability was the creation of a sandbox portal in which the rest of the team could test their findings in the subject. The portal was build with jQuery and included several JavaScript players for this kind of media. Also, I supported the creation of demo content, such as videos in different containers and codecs using free content. - Development of a security mobile application - 10 months: Development of an Android application about the device security status and the analysis of installed applications. Development of an information server and knowledge database. My main responsability has been the development of the Android application, though the team was periodically rotated and eventually, the whole team became familiarized with both projects. The app is designed to work from Android 2.2 to Android 4.4 (at the time of writing). The server application is composed of several projects, written primarily in Java and secondarily in PHP, that retrieved information of the android applications installed in the client devices. The information was then optimized in a MongoDB to give answers to the clients about this applications. Agile development methodologies were used throughout the project development (SCRUM) and quality and security audits are periodically run.

Project in cooperation between University of Leon and Proconsi S. L. Team member in the development of two simulators for education in computer science and chemistry respectively. These simulators were oriented at students between 6 and 8 years old. The simulators were build from scratch in JavaFX 1.3.1, as an applet to be embedded in a web application. My role within the group was developing the core of the simulator in Java FX and adapting the content to the applet.

Project coordinated between University of Leon and the "Centro de Referencia Estatal (CRE) - Care centre for persons with physical or mental disabilities" in San Andrés del Rabanedo. Team member in a development group for a 3D Boccia simulator (paralimpic sport) with the use of the WiiRemote. The entire project was built from scratch in C++, using anjuta as IDE, libboost, SDL, OpenGL and wiiuse. My main responsability was the UI design with SDL as well as the WiiRemote communication interface with WiiUse library. Secondary responsabilities were the basic design of the 3d environment using blender and the periodical tests with disabled users from CRE in order to get feedback and reports for the application.
